Ultra Filtration

Ultrafiltration (UF) is a membrane-based filtration process that separates suspended solids, bacteria, and macromolecules from fluids like water. It works by applying pressure to force liquids through a semi-permeable membrane with pores smaller than those in microfiltration but larger than in reverse osmosis. UF is widely used in water treatment, food and beverage processing, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology. It effectively removes colloidal particles and pathogens, producing clarified and purified water. UF offers advantages such as high removal efficiency, low energy consumption, and minimal chemical usage, making it a versatile and cost-effective solution for various purification and separation needs.
